A great season opener for experienced and new runners alike!
The Grizzly Growler is run over the two(2) mile cross country course at Ivey Redmon in Kernersville -- fairly flat & fairly fast.
We are altering the format of the meet for this fall. Working on the assumption that it will be a heat advisory day, we are going to run just two races -- male and female. We are going to score the team scores as any normal cross event. However, we are going to have individual awards for top grade-level performances.
Entry fees:
Single gender team -- $60.00
School bringing boys and girls -- $100.00
Individuals -- $20.00
There will be not team walkthroughs. It's a fairly simple & straightforward course:
Race Schedule:
8:00 -- arrival
8:30 -- coaches meeting
8:55 -- Girls Two Mile Race
9:20 -- Boys Two Mile Race
10:00 -- awards
10:30 -- Out and onward to lunch and safe travels!!
