Smith Eagle Invite
Ben L. Smith High School is hosting a home meet on April 24, 2024. This meet is located at 2407 S. Holden Road, Greensboro, NC 27407. The track surrounds the practice field accessible from Veasley St.

MEET INFORMATION:
Timing: Timing and bibs will be provided by Rhodes Racing?
Eligibility: Only available to the following teams: Atkins, EG, HPC; No unattached athletes
Entries:
Facilities: Smith is a 6 lane track, there is 1 pit for the jumps. We will not contest the pole vault at this meet. No spikes may be worn that are longer than inch. The shot put and discus circles are concrete.
Team Arrival: Teams will be dropped off at the track by entering through the bus parking lot. However, activity buses must be parked in the upper lot as transportation will not allow us to utilize the parking lot.
Teams may set up tents within the home or away side of the football stadium. The bleachers on the infield will be for spectators only. NO EXCEPTIONS AS THIS IS THE ONLY SEATING AVAILABLE FOR SPECTATORS
Warmup area will be the infield of the football stadium. No athletes will be permitted on the track once the meet begins.
Declaration: There will be no day of reseeding. If an athlete needs to be scratched they can do so by not showing for the appropriate race or lane seeding. All events will be seeded according to your entry submission.
Schedule: Field events to begin at 5:00 PM; Starting with:
Girls LJ followed by Boys LJ (then Girls TJ followed by Boys TJ); Boys HJ followed by Girls HJ; Girls SP followed by Boys SP; Boys Discus followed by Girls Discus
Running events to begin at 5:00 and will be a rolling schedule

All entries will be done on-line through ncrunners(MileSplit). The events listed below will be contested at this meet. NO POLE VAULT
