ALL SCHOOLS IN ALAMANCE COUNTY ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE>
Registration closes on Monday, March 25 at noon.

Medals
will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
participants.Trophies will be presented
to the winning teams.
1. Scratch meeting
will be held on March 26 at 3:15 at the finish line. Track meet starts at 3:45.
2. You can scratch a
participant but will not be allowed to enter any new athletes or to substitute
(except in relays). An athlete can only
participate in four events.Each school
will only be allowed to enter three athletes in each event and one team per
relay.
3. Athletes cannot
scratch from an event after the scratch meeting.If they do, or if they fail to report to an
event, it will count as one of their events.
4. In the field
events (SP,D,LJ,TJ) all athletes will be given four attempts. Shots will be provided. You may bring your own
disci.
5. The 800 and 3200
relay will start with a one-turn stagger.The 1600 and 3200 will be waterfall starts.
6. Buses will be
parked in the bus lot beside the stadium..
7. Check in area for
the distance events and relays will be at the clerk of course tent.Distance athletes will receive hip numbers to
be worn on the left side.Sprinters
will find heat sheets posted beside the starting line for their events.Field events check in at the site.All athletes must be checked in by the 2nd
call. Please make sure your athletes realize that they should be beside the
starting line for their event immediately after the final call. Coaches please
tell your athletes to stay in the bleachers until the first call for their
event.
8. You may sit in
the bleachers on the visitor side or the home side. Tents will not be
allowed in the home bleachers of the stadium, but may be placed on the visitors
side.
9. No loud speakers
allowed in the stadium or in the parking area provided around the school.Please remind your athletes that no
electronics are allowed in the area of competition.
10.Relay cards will be in your packet.Please print athletes first and last names on
the card, and have your athletes turn in the cards with them when they check in
for the relay.
11.Re-seeded sheets will be posted outside the press box.
12.Awards for field events will be given out at the event
site.Medals for running events will be
handed out at the finish line upon completion of the event.
13.Shot puts will be provided.You may use your own disci if they pass
inspection.We will inspect all disci
before the meet.They will be impounded
until completion of the event.
14.Pole Vault is to be conducted on Monday, March 25 at
each school with pole vaulters.You will
be sent a scoresheet to print out and record results for your vaulters.You should bring this sheet Tuesday. Please make
sure your vaulter's weight does not exceed the weight limit on the pole.SAFETY FIRST.
15.Hospitality room will be in the visitor concession
stand.This is only open to the coaches,
not the athletes.
16.Coaches please stress to your athletes the importance
of good sportsmanship throughout the entire meet.Please make sure your athletes have legal
uniforms..
