Meet Information
Welcome to the 2023 Stanly County XC Championships hosted by South Stanly High School at Piney Point Golf Club. This year's course will be an out-and-back course that runs along the paved cart path. There will be a marked turn around point at approximately 2.5 km (1.56 miles) to finish at 5 km (3.12 miles). There will also be a brief crossover on the grass on the course as there is a gap in the cart path shortly after mile 1.
All county teams are allowed to race all of their runners in their respective gendered races, however, each team must designate which members (Top 7 or less) are to be counted in the championship scoring before the entry deadline. Only the previously designated top 7 runners will be allowed to score and earn All-County honors. Alternate substitutions can be made on the day of the race if the meet director is notified prior to the start of the race.
