Meet Information
Hello SPC Coaches and Others,
Here is the information for the Regular Season SPC meet that South Rowan is hosting. Sorry for the delay in everything, we were waiting for confirmation from the park and an update to their policy.
Meet will be on 9/28 at Salisbury Community Park.
935 Hurley School Rd
Salisbury, NC 28147
Start Times:
4:30 Girls (JV and Varsity)
5:00 Boys (JV and Varsity)
Timing:
Hand timing by South Rowan and help from other coaches.
Parking:
Buses please park along the fence line in the gravel parking lot. Spectators can use the gravel lot or the main parking lot by the softball fields.
Bathrooms:
There are limited bathrooms on site so please plan accordingly.
Coaches help:
We will need people to help with calling times, writing times, organizing the finish line, etc. So please be willing to help.
Course:
We will run the same course from Regionals 2 years ago. It is Catawba's official 5k course.
Entries:
We are hand timing so please be mindful when entering kids. We also are cutting off timing at 35 minutes.
Reminder:
In order for an athlete to participate in the SPC championships they must have run either the Pre-Conference on 8/31 and/or this meet. A start and finish will count as participation.
Training:
South Rowan will have an AED and First Aid kit available. Trainer is a ???.
