Meet Information
On Saturday August 19th, 2023, Croatan High School will host the "HWY 24 Light Up the Night" Invitational. Top 5 runners from each team will run a 3k leg of a relay. Medals will be given to the top three relay teams. You can enter the Championship or Invitational Relay. You can have a maximum of two relays per gender/team. Everyone else on your team will run in the open Girls or Boys 3k. This is a night race and will be run under the lights. The Race will start at 7:30PM with the girls open 3k followed by the boys open 3k. These races will be followed by the girls' and boys' relays. Cost is $60 per school, with no entry limit. Make checks out to Croatan High school. The course is located at Croatan High school around the athletic complex. 1 Cougar Lane, Newport, NC 28570. Awards will be given to the top 24 runners in the open races and top three teams in the girls and boys relays. Concession stand will be open and race t-shirts will be on sale. The start and finish will be on the football field.

Middle school athletes can show up at the race and register. Not required to enter on milesplit. Middle school athletes do not have an entrance fee.
$7 spectator fee.
