CCS/HLA Practice Meet
Who: Teams or unattached athletes (4th-12th grade)
What: This is a laid back, low-key meet intended to help athletes have an opportunity to develop their skills in racing. This is a good chance for a time-trial or to try out events that you don't normally race in.
When: Thursday, March 2, 2023 @ 5:00-7:30 PM. Note, please do not enter track area before 5:00 PM.
Where: Mills Park Middle School Track (425 Mills Park Drive, Cary NC). The bleachers at Mills Park are small so spectators may want to bring a lawn chair.

Entries:
Entries for laned events (50m, 100m, 200m, 400m) are restricted to 8 entries per event.

Entries for the field events (Long Jump & Shot Put) are restricted to 4 entries per event.
There is no entry limit for non-laned events (600m, 800m, 1600m).
MS athletes cannot compete in both the 50m and the 100m.They must choose either or.

For this practice meet athletes are allowed to compete in more than four events.

Mills Park is an asphalt track and NOT spike friendly.
We will be "hand-timing" using a smart-phone based application.
