Coaches,
Looking forward to seeing everyone
on Wednesday. High of 59 - mostly Sunny, encourage athletes to bring warm
clothes for when the sun goes down. Let me know if you have any questions
that aren't answered below. Bib numbers are attached below by
school. It's important that every athlete has CORRECT bib number so
results will accurately reflect their performances. These bib numbers are
specific to this meet. If you run a meet with Watauga, or someone
else's system - expect different bib numbers each week.
COACH HELP: Will need help
running events.The more people we have,
the faster the meet will flow. Will also need some help timing if you
have someone who likes to help with that.
Track & Field
Events open for warm up 3:30-4pm.
Field Event Check in
begins at 4-4:15pm.
Boys HJ (5-00), Girls
TJ, Boys LJ, Girls & Boys PV (6-00), Girls Discus, Boys Shot
Field Events Starting
at 4:15pm.
4x800 (Combined Girls
& Boys) at 4:15pm.
100H/110H will start
at 4:45pm to allow the field events to get underway. Rolling schedule
from there.
All Laned events (400
below) will be run fastest to slowest, have your fastest runners ready to
volunteer for early heats for good competition.
We can run a faster
meet (and get you home much sooner) if athletes wait for results, and don't ask
timers for their time. :)
800 & above will
be run cross country style - lining up their order upon finish. Runners
should stay in line until we've recorded their order of finish.
Concessions will be
available.
Ice Coolers / Water
center of field will be available to all.
