Meet Information
Hello all coaches.
This will be our 2nd meet (The meet will be held at Swain High School) and we learned quite a bit from our first meet and this one will run quickly. The meet will start at 3 pm with all field events and the 4x400. We will switch the 4x400 and the 4x800 for this meet as in every other meet the 4x400 gets the short end of the stick, so let's try to qualify the 4x400 teams.
We do have lights around our track so daylight will not be as much of an issue as temperatures when everything goes dark.
We have a F.A.T. timer who will do all of our timing.
There will be an admission for spectators of $5. This will go to cover the cost of the F.A.T. system.
We will have a concession stand open for business.
Order of events.
Boys Pole Vault, then girls
Girls high jump, then boys
Boys shot, then girls.
Jump pits will be open pits until 5 pm. We will not call out an order, they will be open pits when your athlete gets a chance to jump, they can jump.
