Meet Information
Hello and Welcome,
We are excited to host the Northwood Charger Stampede 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run back at Northwood High School(310 Northwood High School Rd Pittsboro, NC 27312) on the beautiful Ronald Horton Cross Country Trail. This race is a wonderful blend of competitiveness and fun.Come out with your whole family and enjoy a morning of running and supporting the Cross Country and Track & Field Teams at Northwood. The monies raised from this event will cover meet entry fees, equipment and travel for the cross country and track & field teams at Northwood. The Northwood High School-Boosters,Friends, Family and Alumni Association( NHSBFAA) is a non-profit corporation(501c3) and all donations are tax deductible. Packet Pick-Up will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on the day of the race Saturday, October 22nd from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m.

Cost of the 5K- $30.00 Shirts included if Registered by Sunday, October 2nd
Cost of the Fun Run $10.00 Shirts Included if Registered by Sunday, October 2nd
Schedule:
Facility Opens- 8:00 a.m.
Registration- 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
Race- 10:00 a.m.
At the conclusion of the race we will do a 1/2 mile Fun Run on the track for Kids Aged 11 and Under
Awards will follow the Fun Run
Awards will be given in the following categories:
Individual Overall Winners and Individual Age Group Winners
Age Groups
- 12 and under
- 13 to 19
- 20 to 29
- 30 to 39
- 40 to 49
- 50 to 59
- 60 to 69
- 70 and up
Shirts are guaranteed ONLY to participants who register by Sunday, October 2nd 2022. Shirt sizes cannot be exchanged or changed after this date.
