Meet Information
The A.L. Brown Wonders of Kannapolis would like to invite you to open your season with a relay-style event! Athletes will run one mile a piece for a team total of five miles. Coaches can enter as many teams as they would like, and are encouraged to include all their runners, veterans and newcomers, in this fun, early season experience. You are encouraged to bring a unique baton (lightsaber/can of beans/broccoli stalk). Teams are even welcome to create team style uniforms for this race. Cost is $60 per school (this includes entry for all the races). Trophies presented to 1st Girl's team, 1st Boy's Team, and best dressed to one 5-person team. Medals will be presented to each member of top three teams. Park staff will be in place to direct you to the parking area just outside of the park (by the maintenance shed). Checks made out to A.L. Brown Cross Country 415 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Online Payment: won1der.org > Cross Country. You can hand checks to a ALB Koach on day of race.
