On October 9th, 2021 Northside High School will be hosting the Panther Invitational. The races will start at 9:30 with the men's race with the women's race to follow. The cost is $60 per school, with no entry limit. The course is located at the high school, 7868 Free Union Church Rd Pinetown, NC 27865. Awards will be given to top ten high school runners, top ten middle school runners, and top three schools. There will be a concessions stand open during the meet and t-shirts will be for sale.
Northside High School hosted the Eastern 1A Regional Race in 2018, 2019, and 2020 season and will host the upcoming 2021 Eastern 1A Regional, which will be run on the same course. This event will be the perfect tune-up heading into your conference races, and practice for the Eastern Regional Race. Each year, it can be quite warm on race day; please be sure your athletes are properly hydrated prior to racing. We will have water coolers and cups at the finish line and refreshments will be for sale in the team camp area at the concessions stand. However, I strongly suggest you bring your own fluids also. Team can set up tents. We do ask that your team cleans up after itself following the meets.
