8:00 - course open to walk. 8:15 - Junior Race (up through 5th grade) 600m. 8:30 - Girls Middle School Race (unlimited) 2.1 miles. 9:00 - Boys Middle School Race (unlimited) 2.1 miles. 9:30 - Girls Sub-varsity Race (unlimited) 5K. 10:10 - Boys Sub-varsity Race (unlimited) 5K. 10:50 - Girls Varsity Division II Race (7 runners) 5K. 11:30 - Boys Varsity Division II Race (7 runners) 5 K. 12:10 - Girls Varsity Division I Race (7 runners) 5K. 12:50 - Boys Varsity Division I Race (7 runners) 5K. 1:30 - Awards (High Jump area inside track). The Varsity Race divisions are set up for the larger, stronger programs to be in Division I. Entry Fees: Boys Team = $50.00 (unlimited entries). Girls Team = $50.00 (unlimited entries). Unattached/Individual runners = $7.00. Registration fees can be paid to: Cannon School, 5801 Poplar Tent Road, Concord, NC 28027, Attn: Ron Johnson, AD. ** All entries must be submitted electronically through Direct Athletics at www.directathletics.com by Tuesday, September 9th, 2008. Awards: Varsity Races: Top three (3) teams will receive plaques. Top team will receive seven (7) T-shirts. Top 15 individuals will receive medals. Subvarsity/Middle School races: Top two (2) teams will receive plaques. Top team will receive seven (7) T-shirts. Top 10 individuals will receive medals. Junior Race: All runners will receive ribbons. *We will have a concessions stand open throughout the meet. All proceeds will benefit the Cannon School Cougar Fund. *Invitational T-shirts will also be for sale during the meet. *The course has a good mixture of open field and trail running, with some asphalt sections, and a couple of good hills.
