Meet Information

Raider Invitational

This year North Iredell H.S. will host the 1st Annual Raider Invitational on March 28th , 2020 @

North Iredell High School in Olin, NC. FAT timing provided by New and Old-Timers LLC timing company

Eligibility: Open to all high school teams and high school age athletes competing unattached.

Facility: State of the art facility, with an 6-lane rubber track, 2 long/triple jump runways, large high jump area, nice pole vault area, plenty of space for team tents.

Entry Fee: $100.00 for both teams (boys & girls) or $60.00 for one single gender team. Individual athlete entry will be $20.00 per athlete for less than 4 athletes.

Race day payments will be accepted in the form of cash, school checks, or cashier's checks/money orders. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR MAIL IN OR RACE DAY PAYMENTS!

Entries: Will be done on NC Milesplit. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM, Wednesday, March 25th , 2020.

Awards: Top 3 in each event, Team champion, Boys & Girls MVP for sprints, distance, and field

General Admission: Admission is $10 (Children under 9 are free).

Packet Pick-up: At the track, starting at 9:00 am; Coaches meeting at 9:30 am

Performance Limits:

There is a limit of 3 athletes per open event & 1 relay team per event for each school

Top 32 entries per gender accepted from verifiable performances within the past year for SP, discus, LJ, & TJ.

Starting Heights Boys HJ = 56, Girls HJ = 46, Boys PV = 86, Girls PV = 70

Best 3 jumps and throws; 9 to the finals

1600 Meter Run - Top 48 entries per gender accepted from verifiable performances from the past year.

3200 Meter Run - Top 24 entries per gender accepted from verifiable performances from the past year.

Discus- Girls followed by Boys (Officials will decide number of flights after check in)

Shot Put- Boys followed by Girls (Officials will decide number of flights after check in)

Girl's Long Jump followed by Girl's Triple Jump (Officials will decide number of flights after check in)

Boy's Long Jump followed by Boy's Triple Jump (Officials will decide number of flights after check in)

Miscellaneous:

All buses park at Field House

Tents may only be placed on the very upper level of the bleachers.

All spectators should use the parking lots at the front of the school

Coaches and athletes are not allowed under the timing tent for any reason.

Coaches are not allowed in the infield, unless you are helping.

No headphones, cell phones or other electronic devices are allowed in competition areas.

Any protests should be filed with the appropriate referee (running or field) or the meet director.

Protests will be judged by the games committee, which will consist of the referees and the meet director.

The protest period will be within 15 minutes after the posting of final results.

ALL ATHLETES, INCLUDING UNATTACHED ATHLETES, MUST CONFORM TO THE NCHSAA UNIFORM RULES.

Shot Put and Discus are located at the football practice field

All field event athletes should check in at their event site no later than 10 minutes prior to the start of their competition.

No athletes should be in the infield unless they are competing; this can result in disqualification.

Check-In will be near the field house storage building

Hip numbers will be worn on the left hip for lane races. All other races will wear numbers on the left hip and left chest.

Athletes should know the order of events and not depend solely on calls before they check in.
