The 18th Annual Blue Ridge Classic will be held on April 18, 2020.
NFHS sanctioning for North Carolina and all bordering states. Held on the campus of AC Reynolds HS surrounded by beautiful mountains, The Blue Ridge Classic has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the best run and most competitive meets in the south, offering superior support for athletes and coaches including staging and venue tents for athlete comfort, trainer and medical support by Southeastern Sports Medicine, modern bathroom facilities, and an onsite track & field store. The meet starts at 9:30
Famous Hospitality: Known also for its extraordinary coaches hospitality, breakfast and lunch for coaches at the BRC is provided by over 15 local restaurants, including Asheville's nationally famous BBQ restaurant 12 Bones Smokehouse, Outback Steakhouse and Bojangles.
$80 per single gender team,
$130 for both male & female teams together, or $10.00 per individual event.
No unattached athletes may enter the meet. An athlete must be entered as a member of a high school team, and eligible for HS competition according to their state sanctioning body. Athletes who first entered ninth-grade prior to July 1, 2016 are not eligible to compete regardless of current scholastic status.
Blue Ridge Classic Middle School events. Three middle school events will be contested - 100 Meters, 1600 meters, and shot put. Middle school running events will be contested at the end of the morning session of the high school events. Shot put will be contested in the break between the high school sections of those events. No entry fee for middle school events; maximum of two athletes per school per event.
