2018 Cannon School College Distance Summit
When: Saturday December 8th, 2018, 9:00 am -
Where: Cannon School
5801 Poplar Tent Rd.
Concord, NC 28027
What: This meet is designed for HS runners who are interested in
running a college distance race on the track. Could be a good
opportunity for those runners interested in running at the
collegiate level to get a time at a college race distance to have on
their resume when talking to college coaches. Also an
opportunity to run on Cannons brand new resurfaced track!
Events: 1500m, 3000m, 5000m and we will also offer a 4 x 1600m relay.
Cost: $5 per athlete, per event. (payable when athlete picks up hip
numbers on day of meet)
*Meet will be FAT timed.
*Registration will be done through www.athletic.net. Entry window is
11/1/18 (8:00 am) 12/6/18 (8:00 pm).
*Coaches should register their athletes and provide the following seed
times, so that we can offer the most competitive races possible.
[1500m (1600m seed), 3000m (3200m seed), 5000m (XC 5K seed) and
4 x 1600m Relay (combined 1600m seeds)]
