Meet Information

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for registering your Womens Track and Field team for the Pink Ladies Track and Field Invitational. KM High will host this all-female track and field meet on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. All ladies are encouraged to WEAR PINK and show their support for Breast Cancer. Admission tickets will be sold at the visitor-side gate (by the throwing areas) for $5.00. Concessions will be available and one-third of all concessions profits will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Since this is a fundraiser event for the KM High Womens Track & Field Program, as well as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, we will charge a registration fee of $40.00 per team or $8.00 per individual athlete. One-third of all registration fees will also be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Upon arrival, head coaches will receive a packet, containing one wristband for every pre-registered athlete. Late registrations will not be allowed. Relay alternates must be registered in order to receive a wristband. Each team will also receive a total of (4) staff wristbands for coaches, student managers, and sports medicine staff. Additional staff wristbands may be purchased at the gate for $2.00 each. Wristbands must be worn at all times. Any person without a wristband will be considered a spectator, is expected to pay the $5.00 admission cost, and will be asked to remain in the stadium seats and designated spectator areas for the duration of the meet.

The meet will begin at 3:45pm with a coaches meeting under the scorers tent by the finish line. All field events and finals in the 4x800m relay will commence at 4:00pm. All other running events will follow the 4x800m relay. Running events will be hand-timed. We can accommodate up to six teams. Each team will be allowed four entries per event, and no athlete can enter more than four total events. For field events, all athletes will be allowed three attempts. We will operate long and triple jump as an open pit. At the close of the Pink Ladies Track and Field Invitational, we will recognize the meets top athletes in both running and field events with the Most Valuable: Track and Most Valuable: Field awards. The first place team will also receive a very special team award. All results will be entered into MileSplit. Ribbons will also be given to the top three competitors in each event. Our pole vaulting facilities have been upgraded to meet the requirements set by the NCHSAA (Revised 2014), and so, pole vaulters are welcome! A hospitality room for coaches will be set up in the press box.

Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, April 10th, at 11:00pm. Please enter first and last names for all athletes and check the spelling of names. Remember that each team may enter three athletes per event, and no athlete should be entered in more than four total events. Registration fees must be paid with a school-issued check.
