FIELD EVENTS START: 10:00AM
RUNNING EVENTS START: 10:30AM
MEET INFORMATION
Facility will open at 8:00am/Lawn seating – bring chairs/tents/etc- Communicate this to your parents. Limited bleacher seating is for parents/spectators only – NO ATHLETES
Bus Parking will be at the rear of the school. Spectator parking will be in the front main lot.
Team Packets and Payment will be at entrance. Each gender team will receive two coaches’ passes (Head and Asst). Additional coaches must pay or show a valid NC Coaches Association Pass.
Check In: All running athletes should check in at the check in tent by 2nd Call.
Field Event athletes check in at their event. At the 3rd Call announcement they should be at their event/starting location.
Uniform/Jewelry Rule: All NFHS rules will be enforced. Uniforms should be matching on all relays. No jewelry is to be worn. 1st Violation = team warning 2nd Violation = DQ
Results: Final results will be sent to NCRunners and the Winston-Salem Journal. Let me know if you would like them sent to another newspaper.
Long Jump/Triple Jump: Each athlete will receive 4 jumps.
High Jump: Girls opening height 4’0”, Boys opening height 5’0”
Shot/Disc: Each athlete will receive 4 throws.
100 & 100/110 Hurdles: 6 fastest times will advance to the finals.
Scoring: Top 6 places 10,8,6,4,2,1
Awards: Medals will be placed in a team packet to be picked up at the end of the meet. Team awards will be announced and awarded at the end of the meet.
Trainer: A trainer will be available for all athletes.
Coaches’ Meals: Coaches who volunteer to work an event will receive a complimentary lunch pass. These will be distributed at the coaches meeting.
