Meet Information
A 5x2500M relay under the lights! This relay format promotes a fun team oriented atmosphere. The race will be run on our home course that will be modified specifically for this event. The course is mostly grass around finely manicured soccer fields and is quite spectator friendly. Each runner will run a 2500M loop before handing off a baton to their teammate. Each school may enter a mens and womens A and B teams (A team should be your top five runners.B should be your 6-10 runners). Any additional runners on your team can compete in the open 2500M Developmental races. Coaches and parents are invited to participate in the 2500M Community Race that will kick off the festivities! Come early and join the fun!! Both gender 5x2500M relays will be held under the lights. The field will be capped at 40 teams! You may submit payment early. Once I receive notice of your interest, I will send you an entry form. Winning teams (A & B) will receive free entry into our 2013 event! Free pizza party before the awards ceremony for all runners! T-shirts will be available for purchase.
Trophies will be awarded to the top two mens and womens A relay teams. Medals to the top three mens and womens B relay teams. The top 15 finishers in the Developmental and Community races will receive medals.
WHEN: Friday August 17, 2012 at the J.Burt Gillette Athletic Complex in Wilson, NC.

8:15PM: Girls A & B Championship Relay Race
9:30PM: Boys A & B Championship Relay Race
10:30PM: Pizza Party and Awards Ceremony
ENTRY FEES: $5 for Community Race. $35 for single gender teams. $60 for both. $80 for unlimited entries. Checks should be made payable to the Fike Athletic Booster Club. Entry dead line is Sunday August 12 at 7PM. There will be a $5 per car charge for parking.
