Over 1000 high schools flock to Franklin Field's unique track facility for the longest-running meet of its kind.
Every year, a small sample of North Carolina athletes and teams make the trip to Philadelphia for The Penn Relay Carnival, held at historic Franklin Field on the University of Pennsylvania campus. This is the 118th consecutive running of the meet, making it the longest-running event of its kind. The three-day competition includes high school, college, and professional athletes (the last group competing in the "USA vs. The World" relays that are televised). It is an all-around experience that cannot be duplicated by any other facility or meet.
