The Green Hope girl's team represented North Carolina well all season. Everyone around the state knew that these ladies were going to be very good based on who they had returning and how fast they had run the previous year. They didn't disappoint at all, as these ladies from Cary, NC won the NCHSAA 4A title and then qualified for Nike Team Nationals. At NXN, they didn't let all the hype get to their heads as they maintained their pack running as they did all year and were able to finish in a very respectable 10th place overall.
Here's a look at their top 10 athletes from this year based on season PR's:
18:24.29 | Enright, Olivia | Tri-9 Conference Championships |

18:28.86 | McDonnell, Maura | Tri-9 Conference Championships |

The scary thing, it appears that only 1 of their top 11 athletes graduate. So you may want to continue to keep an eye out on this team. With their 10th place finish and having 6 girls under 18:42 on the season, they became the top team in North Caroilna history. The question now is, can they improve upon this year's team in 2011?
