2010 XC: Conference Championships

Below you will find all the conference results that were reported to NCRunners.com.

NCHSAA 4A

Central Piedmont Conference Results
#5 ranked Mount Tabor defeats #1 Reagan with a 6th runner tie-breaker. MT's top 5 have 11 second gap. Reagan's Lyerly wins by 50 seconds.
Mount Tabor girls win with Margaret Leak taking the individual title as well.
 

CAP-8 Conference Results
Leesville Road boys beat Broughton by 1 point. Millbrook girls defeat Broughton by 1 point. Close races!
Wakefield's Mitch Mallory ran 15:51 for the win & Millbrook's Samantha George ran 18:16.

Southeastern Conference Results
Pinecrest boys and girls sweep team titles. 19th in a row for the girls!
Jamicia Jones of Lumberton won the girls title and Connor Kelly of Pinecrest the boys.
 
Greater Neuse River Conference Results
Chris Garrett of West Johnston won the individual title. However, newcomer Harnett Central's Louis Vargas also broke 16:00. West Johnston's boys dominated the team competition.
West Johnston's girls also won with Lauren Pollard claiming the individual title.

Metro Conference Article
Results
Brandon Cain and Kristin Cain capture titles.
The Cains helped lead Southern Alamance to a sweep of the team titles as well.
 
Tri-Nine Conference Results
Green Hope sweeps both boys and girls. Bakri Aboushouk of Cary went 15:39 for the win.
Olivia Enright of GH won in 18:24. GH 1-6, 18:24-18:41!
 
Northwestern Conference Results
Watauga's Darby Middlebrook rolled a 18:06 to win by a full minute! Daniel Osborne of Watauga also claimed the individual title, running 16:13.
Watauga's boys and girls sweep the conference team titles.

Mid-South Conference Results

Terry Sanford girls score a perfect score (with no seniors) and South View boys are back. Could be another team to consider for the #1 4A spot.
Jack Britt's Alex Beaudette & Trey Lesane of Terry Sanford take individual titles.

Mideastern Conference Results
New Hanover boys & girls both claim conference titles.
Zach Nifong of Laney & Shelby Howell of New Hanvoer won the individual titles

Mega-7 Conference Results
Charlotte Catholic claims both titles. Jamie Carter of Catholic won the individual title.
Sarah Bollinger of Olympic won the girls title.


Mountain Athletic Conference Results
TC Roberson girls, led by Brook Gordon's individual title, take the team title.
Cole Rains led the competition and the boys of TC Roberson to a team championship.

Southwestern Conference Article
Ardrey Kell captures both boys and girls team titles.
Kaitlyn Kramer of AK and Nick Kapur of AK take individual wins.

Piedmont Triad Conference Results
Matt St. Cyr took the individual title and led NW Guilford to the boy's win.

Alyssa Torres also won and also led the NW Guilford girls to the team victory.

NCHSAA 3A

 Southern Carolina Conference Results
Marvin Ridge boys and Weddington girls take home conference titles.
Chris Colo of MR won in 15:45 and Chelsea Matson of Weddington dropped a solid 19:12.
 
Carolina Conference Results
Chapel Hill's boys and girls sweep the team titles and once again the boys have a tight pack, 20 seconds.
Sarah Rapp of Cardinal Gibbons and Asher Colburn-Hertzberg of Chapel Hill won the individual titles.
 
Mid-Piedmont Conference Results
Ledford's boys take the team title with Anthony Hughes of Ledford winning the individual championship.
The Southwest Randolph girls won and Ledford's Karly Braswell took the title individually.

South Piedmont Conference Results
Jay M. Robinson boys dominate with 35 points. Braedon Koertwitz won the individual title.
Hickory Ridge's girls won by 3 over Robinson. HR's Taryn Stern won the title individually.

Cape Fear Valley Conference Results
Union Pine's boys and the Overhills girls take home conference crowns.
Overhills & Vance sweep: Emily Vance & Phillip Vance win individual titles.

Mid-State 3A Conference Results
Graham Crawford takes individual title with Northern Guilford boys claiming the team victory.
Northenr Guilford girls also win and are led by Erin McGuirk's win.

Appalachian Athletic Conference
West Henderson girls win & Brevard men easily win team titles.
Kiersten Ellsworth of WH ran 19:58 & Franklin's Canyon Woodword in 16:40 for individual titles.

Coastal Conference Results
Havelock boys win w/20 second split from runners 1-6. W. Carteret boys 2nd. Blake Justice from DHConley is runner-of-the-year w/ 1st place time of 17:20.
W. Carteret girls win for umpteenth time in a row. Havelock girls 2nd. Freshman Blake Dodge is girls runner-of-the-year w/ time of 19:31

South Mountain Athletic Conference
Patton boys and Shelby girls are the champions. East Rutherford boys and Patton girls are the runners-up. Noah Green from Patton was first in the boys race with a time of 17:12 and E. Lampley from Shelby was the top girl with a time of 21:32. The race was run at Freedom High School.

Northwestern Conference Results

Three Rivers Conference Article
Won by Denzel Jefferson of St. Pauls in 17:25. St. Pauls also won both team titles.
South Robeson's Nicorie Sinclair took the girl's individual title.

Catawba Valley Conference Results
Bunker Hill boys and East Burke girls claim team titles.
East Burke athletes sweep individual titles with Chase Sigmon in 17:09 & Brittany Porter in 20:43.

Northwest Conference Results
Matus Kriska of Mt. Airy and Jodie Lemons of North Stokes claimed the individual titles.
The Surry Central boys and North Stokes girls are both on the rise in their classifications and claim team titles.

Carolina 10 Conference Results
NCSSM boys defeat #1 ranked 2A team Carrboro for team title. Carrboro girls claim girls title.
Grace Morken of Carrboro and Levi Rolles of NCSSM win the individual titles.


Mountain Valley Conference Results
Carol Blankenship of East Wilkes & Elkin's Zach Milsaps take individual titles.
The girls from East Wilkes and boys from West Wilkes dominate the team competition.

South Mountain Athletic Conference
Patton boys and Shelby girls are the champions. East Rutherford boys and Patton girls are the runners-up. Noah Green from Patton was first in the boys race with a time of 17:12 and E. Lampley from Shelby was the top girl with a time of 21:32. The race was run at Freedom High School.

Owen boys and Hendersonville girls roll to team titles.

Richlands John Raborn & Brenna Grass of Swansboro won the individual titles.

Eastern Plains Conference Results

Madison Moore of Tarrboro won the girl's race and North Pitt won the team title.
The individual title was won by Quincy Bullock of Beddingfield. His team won the overall team title.

Rocky River Conference Results
Megan Kiss of Cuthbertson won the individual title while her team captured the overall victory.
Cuthbertson won the team title with Connor Glair winning the individual title.

Rosewood girls win team title while Princeton's Hattie Dougherty took the individual crown.
Princeton's boys win with 6 in the top 10. Nick Britt of Rosewood won the title.

Cuthbertson won the team title with Connor Glair winning the individual title.

Metrolina Athletic Conference Resuls (MAC) - 2A/3A
Covenant Day swept both the team titles and individual titles.
Stephen Dillon in 17:50 & Anna Haines in 20:10

Cape Fear Independent Conference Article (CFIC) - 2A
Results
Village Christian Girls & Cape Fear Academy Boys come out on top.
Kristin Stephenson of VCA and Michael Maynard of CFA won titles.

Piedmont Athletic Conference of Independence Schools (PACIS) - 2A/3A
Doreen Lageman of Forsyth Country Day won the individual title while Greensboro Day took the girl's team win. Scott Morgan of Calvary Baptist won the boys race. High Point Christian Academy won the boy's title.

Charlotte Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA) - 3A
Charlotte Latin girls and Haylee Dawe take girl's titles. Dawe ran 18:10 for new CISAA record.
Tim Gruber took the title in 16:07 with Providence Day winning their 11th title in a row.

Triangle Independent Schools Athletic Association (TISAC) - 3A
Thomas Graham leads the field and Cary Academy to the team title.
Ravenscroft's girls win while Eliza Dekkar wins by a minute and a half.

CAROLINAS ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION  (CAA) – 1A/2A/3A
Asheville School girls won while Whitney Thornburg of Asheville Christian Academy took the individual crown. The Asheville Christian boys took the team title with Trevor Sleight of Carolina Day rolling to victory.
