Runners around the Charlotte area know of Alana Hadley and have known about her for quite some time. With her performance today at the Wake Forest Open, many, many more people will know the name Alana Hadley.
Alana was recently featured in the Charlotte Observer in an article written by Theoden Janes, a local runner himself.
I've put in a few emails to the USATF asking what the national record is for 13 year olds. So in my opinion, this is a record pending.
