Cuthbertson head cross country & distance coach Kirk Walsh has announced he's stepping down from his role at the end of the 2023 outdoor track season.
It was announced on social media Thursday morning. The news comes just one day after Cuthbertson's senior night. "This is my final season with this amazing squad. It's time. Will have more to say about the last decade later, but for now we're 100% focused on crushing these next 7 weeks."
Walsh has led helped lead Cuthbertson's girls to five indoor state titles, two outdoor state titles, and five consecutive cross country state titles. In cross country, Walsh has coached three individual state champions: Madeline Hill (2018 & 2020) and Stella Kermes (2022).
