In fact, he tallied five sub 15:00 performances on the season: 14:57.60, 14:45.00, 14:20.90, 14:46.59, 14:44.90.
His 14:44.90 from the NCISAA State Championship is a state meet record.
Hansen also went undefeated on the season, picking up wins at adidas XC, ASICS, Hagan Stone XC Classic, CAA Conference Championship, and NCISAA State Championship.
He also led his Christ School squad to the state title.
Gilbertson capped off his senior campaign in the most emphatic way, with a NCHSAA 4A state championship.
He ran his personal best of 15:23.50 at the NCHSAA 4A Mideast Regional at WakeMed. His time is NC No. 7 on the season.
The Ole Miss commit also picked up some major wins on the season. He opened up his season with a win at Providence Cross Country Invitational, and went on to win the NCRunners Elite XC Invitational.
He also won the SAC 3A/4A Conference and NCHSAA 4A Mideast Regional Championships.
Townshend wrapped up his senior senior with wins at the NCHSAA 4A Midwest Regional, Southern Carolina Conference, and Union County Championships.
He finished runner-up at the NCHSAA 4A State Championship.
Townshend, who is headed to Ole Miss in the fall, was as consistent as they come. He had six performances between 15:15.00 and 15:32.40. His 15:15.00 is NC No. 4 on the season
Hansen used a 3rd place finish at the NCHSAA 4A State Championship to lead Green Hope to the team state championship.
He ran a personal best and NC No. 8 15:25.97 at the NCHSAA 4A Mideast Regional, where he finished runner-up, and once more led Green Hope to the win.
He also placed 7th at NCRunners Elite, 13th at adidas XC, and 16th at Friday Night Lights. As a team, Green Hope took home the titles at NCRunners Elite and Friday Night Lights.
Evans had a fantastic senior year that saw him win the SWAC XC Championship and Friday Night Lights XC Festival crown.
His personal best of 15:26.50 came in a 3rd place effort at the NCHSAA 4A Mideast Regional. He also placed 3rd at NCRunners Elite. His time from regionals is NC No. 9 on the season.
He placed 6th at the NCHSAA 4A State Championship to cap off his season.
Krister Sjoblad - Athens Drive
The NC State commit exploded onto the scene after his 15:07.10 performance at the adidas XC Challenge where he placed 5th. His time is NC No. 3 on the season and No. 26 all-time.
He won the CAP 6 Conference and NCHSAA 4A East Regional titles.
Sjoblad also finished 3rd at Friday Night Lights.
Like Sjoblad, Rouse had a breakout performance at adidas XC Challenge. He ran NC No. 5 15:17.70 and secured 9th place.
Rouse won the 38th Annual Greensboro XC Invitational and DAC VII Cross Country Championships.
He placed 4th at NCRunners Elite and 5th at the NCHSAA 4A State Championship.
