The Millrose Games Meet Page
Sanu Jallow (West Mecklenburg) made the trip up to New York City for the running of The Millrose Games! Jallow was slated to compete in the 600m in a loaded field from top to bottom. Jallow is no stranger to the shorter-to-mid-distance races, as she currently sits NC No. 4 all-time in the 800m with her 2:07.78 during outdoor season. In the 400m, her personal best of 53.71 is NC No. 10 all-time. Indoors she is NC No. 4 all-time in the 500m and NC T- No. 5 all-time in the 300m.
Given all those accolades, Jallow has never competed in a 600m.
She didn't shy away from the completion and came our roaring. She clocked 1:32.78 to take home the win! Her mark is good for a new North Carolina No. 2 all-time and sits her in the top 60 all-time nationally in the event!
