Eastern Alamance's Jake Hurysz burst to the lead and stayed there at Friday nights 3200m race. Jake took the first mile out in 4:32, then after a 70 & 71 on laps 6 & 7, closed in a 63 seconds final lap.
This is a monster PR for Jake on the track. His previous best was 9:48 from last track season. Then Friday night . . . 9:08!
Isaac Presson of Asheville also ran a big PR, dropping a 9:14 for 2nd place.
