Watch Three of NCISAA's Best in adidas Championship 2 Mile

NCISAA 3A cross country champion Ryann Aycock (Cary Christian) was joined by NCISAA 2A cross country champion Molly Kuzma (The O'Neal School) and Morgan Boonshaft (Providence Day) in the opening heat of the Championship Girls' 2 Mile at adidas Indoor Nationals this weekend. 

Aycock got out to an early lead on the field with a quick opening mile. Aycock crossed the halfway point all alone in 5:23. She continued to pull away from the field and held off a final push by Delaine Hesler (Maine) to win the first heat in 10:58, good for a new personal best!

Kuzma, a Johns Hopkins commit, crossed the line in 11:11 placing 8th in her heat and Boonshaft was right behind in 9th, running 11:14.
