Kernersville, NC -- Today is the day! After one of the toughest seasons of all-time all these athletes hard work, dedication, and patience finally pays off. Let's go over how this state meet will be unlike any other! Fields have been trimmed down to only 100 athletes per gender in each classification. Each race will be broken into two heats, determined by placement at the regional meets, with 50 runners in each heat. 9:35am: Wesley Haws, Maddon Muhammed, and Justin Hayes sit 1-2-3 at the mile! 4:51 mile split for the leaders. Cardinal Gibbons with three in the top twelve.

9:30am: They are off! Wesley Haws (Cardinal Gibbons) and Panther Creek shoot out to the front.

9:25am: Good morning #TeamNC! We are live at Ivey Redmon park for the NCHSAA 4A state meet. Up first, the first section of the 4A boys. Cardinal Gibbons, Panther Creek, Myers Park, Reagan, Mooresville, and Lake Norman are the teams on the line along with individual regional qualifiers Dylan Core and Landon Soroka (Broughton), Noah Valyo (Athens Drive), Alex Fernandez (Green Level), Bryce Anderson (Hickory Ridge), Jacob Laney (Porter Ridge), and Caleb Roesch and Maximous Lira (South Mecklenburg).
