The defending NCISAA 3A champs are back ready to defend their crown in 2020. Returning #2 and All-State finisher Will Gray has transferred at the start at the beginning of his sophomore year to join his father playing basketball at West Forsyth. Senior Will Scott is the lone All-State returner from the championship team and looks to lead this team back to the top. Sam Scott finished 14th as a freshman so he definitely has potential to crack the top ten, or even higher this season! Carter Sullivan joins Scott as the other senior on this top five. Carter Sullivan was 18th, right behind Scott, so look for him to make that potential jump into the top ten. James Snyder was 33rd at the state meet last season and was the 2nd best #6 runner during the state meet. The defending champs have a lot of work to do in order to repeat as NCISAA 3A champions, but hard work is nothing new to this squad.
