Coming off a 6th place finish at last season's NCISAA 4A State Meet, this squad looks to finish much higher this season. Returning #1 Sedona Dancu did not finish at the state meet, so a scoring performance by her could've catapulted this team up a few positions. They do lose three seniors from that team to graduation so the new talent of this top five will have to step up. With Dancu at the helm this could be a serious contender in 4A. Four of the projected top five for this team will be seniors. Hannah Beth Brown finished 38th at the State Meet last season. Olivia Mueth has the second fastest personal best on the team behind Dancu. Brown and Mueth could make for a very powerful 2-3 punch. Katherine Neil ran for Covenant in the State Meet in 2016 as an 8th grader but has not raced there since. The lone non-senior is Elisabeth McDowell.
