Coastal Christian HS leads the charge atop NCISAA 3A with Isaiah Arnold and Nicholas Scrocco going 1-2. Coastal Christian was the #25 overall team in our Pre-Season XC Countdown. Arnold is the defending XC State Champion and will look to repeat this season. The talent behind him is picking up, however. Will Scott and Will Gray (both of Forsyth Country Day) are looking to make their mark as the best duo in NCISAA. Gray with 6th last season at the State Meet as a freshman, and Scott was right behind him in 7th. Other notable All-State Returners are Connor Nanney (Gaston Christian), Spencer Young (Ashville Christian), and Bennett Mayes (Cary Christian).
