The 4A girls level of the NCISAA features three girls who have already dipped under 19:00! All three of those are from Durham Academy, featuring returning #1 and rising freshman Allison Hall. Her personal best came on WakeMed XC Course at Post Season Team Regionals last season. Expect to see all three Durham Academy runners competing for the NCISAA 4A title. Quinn Shanahan is only seven seconds behind Hall. The other Durham Academy athlete capable of making some noise is Anna Catherine-Wilson. Mary Schleusner (Charlotte Latin) and Harper Shaw (Charlotte Country Day) are capable of running with the Durham Academy trio and fighting for a top spot. The NCISAA 4A Girls race will be a fight to the finish up front, with teammates and rivals alike gunning for the crown.
