Some athletes don't start competing until their freshman year begins. But some athletes do get in the sport early. We preview the top incoming freshman boys. We will surely see brand new names on this list in the fall if we see cross county action. Dawson Reeves (Christ School) was 16th at the NCISSA 4A State Meet last season as an 8th grader. With Andrew Hammel graduating he will have to step up with the young Christ School Front. Tyler Surface and Luke Terrell (Fit 180/Carmel Middle School) have dipped under 17:10 and look to really challenge Reeves for the top spot. Terrell won the NC Runners XC Invitational 3200m race last season!
