This is a deep 3A Class as we enter the 2020 season and it has the potential to get even deeper! There are five Sub 16:00 returners, headlined by Northern Guilford's Jack Dingman. The top four finishers from the 2019 3A XC State Meet all graduated, by places 5-13 are all returning for another chance at the glory. Ryan Motondo (Walter Williams) had a breakout PR of 16:10 during the state meet last season, and he finished as the top returner. Gavin Sweeney (Watauga) is moving to Lake Norman High School School (4A) so he will open up the field to the likes of Ben Hawley (Chapel Hill), Will Soule (Mount Tabor) and Nathan Geyer (DH Conley)
