The Donna Davis Track & Field Invitational is set for next Sunday June 28th at Mountain Island Charter School in Mount Holly, North Carolina. Mount Holly is just west of Charlotte.
The event will be hosted by Team Charlotte Premier Track Club and will have Live Results by Big Kahuna Timing and will be live streamed on MileSplit. The event in limited to the events below. Each event will be limited to the first 40 athletes who sign up.
The event has been approved by Gaston County Health and Human Services Department, as long as the state safety procedures are followed.

Instructions: Registration is only through NC MileSpilt with fee payment via PayPal. If you do not have a MileSplit account go to https://nc.milesplit.com, click Login, click Register/Sign Up and create your free account. Then find your athlete profile using the search function and select "Claim Athlete" and once approved you'll be able to register for the event through the meet page. Once you register there will be No Refunds!

Eligible Athletes: High School Boys and Girls (Middle School athletes are welcomed but must run with High School athletes)
All athletes participate as Unattached (UNA): Athletes will electronically sign the Donna Davis Track Invitational waiver form upon registration. Spectators will sing the waiver form at the entrance gates.
ALL IN ATTENDANCE MUST PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING.
Athletes:
- Are allowed a maximum of ONE spectator in order to maintain control of social distancing with COV-19.
- Must bring your own water bottle (Water will be provided to Refill bottles)
- Will be screened by having temperatures taken with non-oral thermometer
- Must Sanitize hands before and after races
Spectators:
- Must wear a mask or facial covering while in the facility.
- Will be screened at the entry.
- Must sanitize hands when entering the Gates.
- Will be screened when entering the Gates by having temperature taken
- Must practice social distancing for personal safety and in showing respect for others.
Facility Rules:
In order to maintain a safe environment as per COV-19 county and state guidelines, everyone will be screened (Coaches, Athletes, Staff, and spectators).Any items used during the meet, should be sanitized after every use, or change of hands. Once coaches, athletes, spectators, event staff enter the facility they can't leave the campus. Rest rooms will be available inside the building.
Event Notes:
Medals will be awarded to 1st -3rd Places in each event.2 MVP's (1 male, 1 female) will be named.MVP's will receive a meet T-shirt.
100 meter dash - use lanes 1,3,5,7 only(May choose to alternate lanes after each heat--2,4,6,8) while blocks are being sanitized from previous heat.
200/400 meter dash -- use lanes 1,3,5 (May choose to alternate after each heat-2,4,6).
800/1600 runs-- starts will be adjusted according to number of entries.
Long Jump will have 2 Pits available on an "open pit" format.Open pit times will be published in the Final Schedule of Events.
The meet is named after Robert Washington's mother, Donna Anita Davis. Davis was born on February 8, 1961. She was a mother, sister and daughter. She dedicated her life to serving her community. She died of cancer on July 8, 2000. We dedicate this invitational to her memory and service to helping others. The Donna Davis Cancer Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals and families struggling financially from the effect of debt related to cancer. Her Husband Robert Davis will present the overall male and female MVP with a t-shirt at this event.
