Jonah Ross (Garner) announced her college commitment to North Carolina A&T last week. Jonah's older brother Randolph Ross and father Duane Ross both were NCHSAA State Champions at Garner and North Gaston. Duane Ross is the Director of Track & Field at North Carolina A&T and Randolph was the second fastest 400m runner in the NCAA this indoor season as a true freshman running 45.53.
Jonah has had a ton of success on the track with 4 NCHSAA 4A State Championships and outdoor PRs of 11.60 and 23.72. She is NC#10 All-Time in the 100m and NC#10 All-Time in the 200m under all conditions.
