Morgan Smalls (Carolina Allstars) - 17-18 High Jump & Triple Jump
It was business as usual for Morgan Smalls taking home the wins in Triple Jump on Wednesday and the High Jump on Thursday. Smalls was dominant in triple jump only scratching one attempt and landing 5 marks that would have won the competition. Her worst jump was 40-3¼ and he winning mark was just ¼ off her PR with a 41-8 (-0.6).
Smalls would return to the track on Thursday to win the High Jump in 5-10¾. Smalls cleared the height on her second attempt scoring no misses on her previous three heights. Smalls was close on three attempts at 6-¾. Smalls will compete in Lima, Peru at the Pan American Games next week.
