Elizabeth Deen (Greensboro Champions) - 12 Year Old Girls Long Jump
Elizabeth Deen won the 12 year old Long Jump in 18-5¾ (+3.3) to win the long jump by a whole foot over the field. Deen took the lead on her second jump with a 17-8, which would have been good enough to win, and then 17-11 on her third attempt. The mark exceeds the national record in the event, however it was over legal wind.
