The NCHSAA has posted the 2019-2020 seasonal alignment for the upcoming cross country season on their website.
At the NCHSAA Board Meeting this spring the board approved the change the regionals to keep conferences together in the same region. In doing so, this eliminates situations where a team gets 4th-6th in their conference and advance to states when a team that was 3rd in said conference doesn't due to being in different regions.
On their website, they listed what regions would be in which conferences. We broke down which teams were in what conference below and are updating our database now so rankings will reflect these later today.
Below are the number of teams in each region. Not all of these schools compete in cross country, but if all schools did these are the total teams per region.
