With the conflict between the ACC Women's Soccer Tournament and the NCHSAA State XC Meets, the original plans to change the XC location has flopped.
WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary was to be the new site for the XC state meet, however, it looks like the state meet is now back at Tanglewood.
There was a press release which came out earlier this week in the Winston-Salem Journal which got everyone talking. Now a couple days later it looks like the NCHSAA has settled things with the Tanglewood people in Clemmons, NC.
Coaches, adjust those training plans . . . it's back to TANGLEWOOD!
I'm sure you all are wondering, as was I, will the 4 Runner's Only Invitational be moved back since the state meet is there . . . well, the answer is NO. Multiple people have informed me that Tanglewood is just too expensive, so it looks like there will only be one meet at Tanglewood this year and that will be the NCHSAA State meets.
