NCRunners Middle School Elite Races To Watch!

Brunner Williams (Providence Day)

Providence Day 8th grader had an incredible outing yesterday with four races on tap and earning four gold medals.  Williams won the 110m Hurdles, 100m Dash, 300m Hurdles and 200m Dash all in the span of a few hours scoring 40 team points for Providence Day.

Williams first ran a 17.13 in the 110m Hurdles in a .30 second win over Will Vaughn (Trinity Episcopal).  He then won a tight battle in the 100m Dash where he earned a PR of 11.66 in a .03 second win over William Ratliffe (Woodlawn MS).  Then in the 300m Hurdles Williams would edge Aiden Taylor (Weddington) in 44.90 by just .12 seconds.  Then in the 200m he was able to edge out Braxton Campbell (Carver MS) by .02 seconds from an earlier section clocking 24.34.

None of these races came easy.  The NCISAA and Providence Day have a great sprinter/hurdlers moving up to the high school ranks next winter!
