10. Noah Bibus wins a tight 500m
Noah Bibus (Croatan) came in as the 6th seed in the boys 500m, but the fast section were all within a second of each other. The second fastest section was run in 1:08.93 so they knew they'd need to roll. Four boys in Bibus, Everette Rhymer (South Davidson), Quavies Andrews (Whiteville) and Jackson Hase (CATA) were all close throughout the race. You could see BIbus shift gears over the final turn and swing past the field. He took home the win over Rhymer in 1:08.30 to 1:08.69.
