Vance long jumper, Jarrett Samuels, has been named to the USATF World Youth team that will compete in Bressanone, Italy from July 8-12.
Samuels placed 3rd at the 4A state championships this year and then jumped a new personal best at the US World Youth Trials at Eastern Michigan University. Samuels placed 2nd at the meet with a jump of 23-10.25.
