North Carolina Sends Three To The Bahamas With Team NSAF

Randolph Ross (Garner), Charles (Omar) McBride (Apex) and Kevin Snyder (Christ School) all were selected to participate on Team NSAF this weekend.  These three will compete at the Frederick Bastian Track and Field Classic at the Grand Bahama Sports Complex this Saturday.

Randolph Ross is a stud in many events, but the junior will compete in the 400m Dash.  Ross was an All-American in the 400 indoors clocking 48.36, good for 6th in the finals.  He also was the NCHSAA 4A 400m Dash Champion at the State Championships two weeks ago.  Ross has a ton of potential to throw down a fast time.  He's been under 48 in four attempts this season, though competed in the High Jump and Relays prior.

Charles McBride was selected to compete in the High Jump.  McBride holds an outdoor best of 6-10 from the Apex Lions Relays and an overall PR of 7-0.25 from New Balance Indoor Nationals where he took home a third-place All-American finish.  McBride was recently 3rd at the NCHSAA 4A State Championships and will look to bring home a new PR this weekend.

Kevin Snyder has recovered from a long weekend after leading his Christ School team to an NCISAA 3A State Championship two weeks ago.  He won the Long Jump for the third straight year and Triple Jump for the second straight year.  Snyder has been eyeing the 50-foot mark in the triple jump all season after jumping 49-9 back in January.  Snyder has jumped 49-3.25 this spring and has only lost once at the Bojangles Track & Field Classic where he took 3rd.  Could this be the week he clears 50?

We'll keep you updated with these three studs success over the weekend.
