Regional Weekend Brings 16 New NC#1 Marks!

Cameron Council 100m Dash - 10.51

Cameron Council (Northwood) improved on his 10.55 100m PR from his junior year at the NCHSAA 3A Mideast regional where he ran a new NC#1 mark of 10.55.  DeMarkes Stradford (Charlotte Latin) did clock a 10.13, but due to a timing error the mark won't count as an FAT mark and will go down as a 10.44 hand-timed mark.

The Tennessee commit has great range on the track in the sprints from 100m to 400m as he ran 21.81 in the 200 to win the Mideast, but did take 5th in the 400 running 50.42.  It appears that he's been battling some injuries this outdoor season, but still impressed in the 100m and 200m where he'll be a big name to watch in both sections at the NCHSAA 3A State Championships this weekend.
