George Hotelling (East Chapel Hill)
Though Hotelling didn't advance to the outdoor state meet last fall, he certainly impressed me with his regional performance finishing just behind Michael Moerk in the 4A Midwest 1600. Hotelling is a rising junior with a 4:26 track PR from his sophomore year as well as a 16:24 5K PR. I think the breakthrough is going to come this fall as he'll make his season debut this weekend. East Chapel Hill has had some stars recently in Ryan Brady and Sam Miner, and Hotelling looks to be their next star runner.
