John Monoroe & Andrew Monroe (Panther Creek)
Last week we saw a sophomore duo from Broughton have break out performances at the Jungle Run. John Monroe and Andrew Monroe took Jack Rooney (Broughton) to the link in a 3K in early August where they ran 9:34 and 9:35. These guys were the top two runners for Panther Creek, and even though they haven't run a 5K yet it looks like they're going to be some of the Catamounts top guys leading a super strong sophomore class for them. I'd expect these guys to be under 16:25 if they transition well for 5K tomorrow. If it isn't tomorrow, I certainly think the breakthrough is coming this fall.
