Haven Honey (Asheville) leads the sophomore class rankings after an impressive state meet performance of 15:55. But their are many boys who dropped more time than him from their freshman to sophomore season. Nickolas Scrudder (Millbrook) sits 15th in the class rankings, but dropped 2:29 seconds off of his freshman year time of 19:06! If you look through the list, not many boys dropped over 2 minutes over one year as Scrudder went from a JV runner to a crucial member of the top 7 for Millbrook! Of the top 200 boys in the sophomore class, Zach Floyd (Central Davidson) should the biggest improvement over the year cutting 4:49 off his freshman year time!
