Evan Harris was off to a fantastic start this XC season with a 3rd place finish and PR at Providence Invitational, on a day where everyone ran slower than normal. He expected a lot this season after that performance, but injury held up his progression in the middle of the season and he missed out on a lot of training in the middle of the season. But Harris was able to bounce back with a 2nd place finish at the North Piedmont Conference and a 3rd place finish at the 4A West regional matching his 16:17 PR. Though Harris has excelled on the XC course, his main focus is on the 800 on the track where he has run 1:55 and hold a 1600 PR of 4:24!
